Good Deeds
Good Deeds are those that are done with an absolutely selfless motive.
Good deeds that are performed selflessly are real boon to your progress. They will carry you higher more rapidly than anything else. Unfortunately, behind all good deeds, some people almost always think that it will take them to a higher level and their sins will be forgiven.
But this kind of thought brings you lower rather than taking you to a higher level. Only those good deeds that are done naturally and out of kindness, without any thought of going in heaven, can be considered selfless good deed.
Good deeds done entirely for the sake of forgiveness in order to wipe out your karma, without genuine repentance, then are not selfless, good deeds.
Like if you do something for the sake of a loved one, you don’t care to broadcast it or think twice about it. You it out of love for that beloved soul. Whatever you do for your beloved, take a joy in it, then forget it as though it was a natural deed, an expression of true affection- unless, of course, your love is not true. In one second, your good deed can turn into selfish one- so before you have time to think more, just forget about it. So remember, on tiny bit of selfish thought will wipe off your good deed.
